Indications of Mercury in Astrology

In this video I discuss many indications of Mercury in your chart. Mercury is the young prince, it rules youth and looking young and therefore can indicate immaturity. It rules all forms of communication, media, journalism, writing, friends, hobbies, curiosity, comedy, analysis of data, learning, education, numbers, administrative, internet and computer jobs. It rules Wednesdays, lungs, respiratory and nervous system, arms, shoulders, hands, throat chakra, speech and skin. A strong Mercury means you are intellectual, want to get the information out, witty, comedic, can be gossipy especially if connected to Gemini. A healthy Mercury will be articulate, artistic, share information without manipulating it but the opposite happens when Mercury is not. It is a neuter planet, exalted at 15 degrees Virgo and debilitated in the opposite sign Pisces at same degree, where it finds it harder to express their intelligence but have an amazing mind that thinks outside the box like Albert Einstein. A weak Mercury will find it difficult to learn in a systematic way, sometimes needing to process information visually rather than theoretically. Receives directional strength in the 1st house, which gives Mercury exceptional focus and intellect. It is friendly with the Sun, Venus and Saturn and an enemy to Mars, Moon and Jupiter .
To strengthen the Mercury in your chart you can use this mantra; “Om Nam Buddha Namaha”.
People with very strong Mercury especially in Virgo find it very hard to see the big picture as they are all about detail and small picture, this can manifest as a critical and negative nature in a few cases. Once they do see the light, they can enjoy life more. This is can be very difficult where the attention to detail can control the person’s life and impact relationships and peace of mind, especially in situations like OCD and other similar conditions.
