From enemies of God to being His children

This is indeed a big step that has been done! And all because of His grace and mercy!
God is good but He is also just, right, holy, a FIRE that burns iniquity and sin!!
Lets now meditate at this verse:
Romans 5:10
For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!
