Mountains, seas and sky, all these things remain
But all you`ll leave behind, are your deeds, blood and name.
So walk these hills while there`s time, swim those mighty seas.
Then empty out all your pockets. You`re taking nothing when you leave.

The stars will come out when the sun goes down.
Another day is done.

Not everyone`s a believer. Yet everyone has some doubt.
Everyone`s locked in chains. Wondering what its all about.
Everyone holds their hat out to someone.
Hoping they just might throw in a couple dimes.

I wish I had the freedom, I`d ride the wind.
To some far off places I aint seen.
But wherever I may land. Right there I`d be.
There aint no escaping me.

I`ve spun around old Sol, coming up on fifty times.
I`m that fool out on the hill. Many moons have passed me by.
I`m to afraid to love. To ashamed to die.
I had one life to live but I squandered away my time.
