Watch an epic journey come to conclusion on Thursday, Feb. 18 as Perseverance arrives and lands on Mars and officaly starts it mission researching the surface of Mars!
To reach the surface, Perseverance has to survive the harrowing final phase known as Entry, Descent, and Landing, also know as the 7 Minutes of Terror as during this time the rover is on its own.
Perseverance is the biggest, heaviest, cleanest, and most sophisticated six-wheeled robot ever launched into space and will search Jezero Crater for signs of ancient life and collect samples that will eventually be returned to Earth.
