Old Bo (song I wrote about my dog that died)
I wrote this song a long time ago but this is the first time I ever posted it on YouTube. The two pictures I used in this video are not pictures of my dog but they look just like him. Btw Obama had a dog whose name was also Bo and he recently died. I send my thoughts and prayers because I know how hard it is to lose a loved one and a family member.

Well I had an old dog with a furry golden coat
A waggin` tail and a big black nose
I guess you could say he was a purdy good dog
At least most of the time

Well he chased a few cars and he chased a few cats
But he never hurt nobody
And if you petted him once and you petted him twice
He`d be your life long buddy

Well he ran thru the fields and he ran thru the meadows
Swam in the Spokane river
Then one time much to my surprise
He caught a big fish for dinner

Well me and that old dog we had a lot of fun
No matter what the weather
And thru the wind and the rain and the snow and the cold
We would be always together

(here comes the sad part where Ol Bo dies)

Well the years rolled along and nature took its course
Bo he died right out on the porch
I found him there the very next morning
Tears welled up in my eyes

So I buried him out in the backyard
With the sun burning up in the sky
And with a cool breeze blowin` and a sweet song singin`
He picked a bad day to die
