Homemade Wood Top Banjo - Lag Bolt Neck Attachment - Blotch Proof Wood Staining Technique
3 years ago

This is the latest wood top banjo I have made. It sounds like a dulcimer. I used two lag bolts to attach the neck to the body and neck is adjustable to get the right string action. I think we came up with a blotch proof wood staining technique which I am cautiously optimistic about. I explain how I did it in this video. I will probably put nylon strings on it because of the intonation problem on the 3rd string unless I can fix it. Not used to talking much so as usual I sounded pretty scatter brained.
