Seeking Adventure and an Ukulele on Big Island Hawai'i | Not Your Typical Trip Hawaii

My recent adventure to Hawaii landed me a great Ukulele and some interesting stories.

Join me on this short adventure on Hawaii's Big Island. I followed Arborists around the island doing tree work and sought out some opportunities to play music with people when I could. We learned a bit about how different locals lived, learned about the plant life, joined a drum circle on Kehena Black Sands Beach, topped Mauna Kea, Swam with Manta Rays, Jammed with a bassist on a farm, met street musicians, and bought a Uke from Uncle Uke, Robert Yates of Hawaiian Ukulele and Guitar.

Not all of these things are mentioned super thoroughly in this video. This is my first attempt at any sort of travel content and I'm not entirely sure how to go about it yet. So please let me know what you think in the comments! Thank you!

In the future, on this channel, (Or a different channel) I would like to interview musicians around the world about how they got into playing traditional music that represents their culture. Ideally, I will seek out musicians that attempt to preserve traditional music as well as musicians that combine traditional, regional aspects with more modern sounds. Please let me know what you think in the comments.
