Welcome back everyone today we have the pleasure of speaking with Michael Thornhill the co-founder of Casa Galactica an Ayahuasca retreat center where he has worked with the local indigenous people to learn the methods of the long standing tradition of Ayahuasca ceremonies.

There aren't many places like Casa Galactica, they take the plant medicines available within the jungles of Peru to create a road map around individual needs to bring about a catalytic event that has a potential to transform your life. As Michael put it himself a person interested in this type of therapy must undergo rigorous prep whether thats understanding the purpose or learning about the process one would endure.

The reality is that psychedelics are for the first time being taken seriously in the western world, there numerous studies about the benefits and ongoing research quantifying the effects as some people report that the positive effects last months after the trials. As a society we are looking back to the past to learn from ancient civilizations, these ancients held the keys to the universe of mind, body and spirit and held such knowledge so long ago.

What Michael talks about in this episode of The Daily Dose is the powerful effects that Ayahuasca offers people to empower themselves to grow beyond the physical and emotional limitations they face in their current lives leaving people with the knowledge and tools that can facilitate a long term recovery from past traumas.

The road to healing with Ayahuasca isn't a cure and it isn't something to abuse or exclusively rely on, it simply reveals the door you must walk through to begin the journey.
