You might have heard of these water troughs called other names such as: water guzzler, water table, drinking station, rainwater supply, refillable station, water collection station, etc. It's basically a self-filling storage of water that dispenses water for wildlife to consume year round. You can fill them up with a hose, well, or use a roof and gutter to fill from rainfall and dispense it over time. Why provide water? It will attract more deer and other wildlife to your land. It works - they always will find it!
