As we go along our walk as believers we should always be under the guidance of God. It says in Proverbs 20:24, "Man's goings are of the LORD; how can a man then understand his own way?" This life is a journey towards heaven, our eternal life. It is a passage way in the wilderness we must travel and there is no better, faithful guide than Jesus Christ.

There is verse in Psalm 32:8 that reads, "I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye." God spoke these words to David during a time in his life he needed it most. Most of us focus on God's leading and guiding us in difficult situations when they arise.

But the truth of the matter is we need His daily leading and guiding. He leads and guides at times when He illuminates a particular passage. There are other times where there are circumstances that show us the way to take. While at times we can hear His voice within speaking saying "this is the way you are to take."

Though there are so many voices in our heads from this world, His voice has a sound to it like no other. It is distinct, clear and alive. Many people have told of stories where they said they knew they were hearing His voice telling them not to do something, and they passed it off and went ahead into destruction.

I see destination in all of God's leading us through life. There is no random guiding or leading that takes us in circles. It has forward direction that leads us all along appointed paths that lead home.

Jesus will Instruct you and teach you in the way you are to go, He will guide you with His eye. He will Lead you and guide you for His namesake," because you put your trust in His name, therefore the honor of His name is at stake. He will be your guide even unto death. He will guide you with His counsel and afterwards receive you to glory forever and ever.

"If Christ is not all to you He is nothing to you. He will never go into partnership as a part Saviour of men. If He be something He must be everything, and if He be not everything He is nothing to you."
~Charles Spurgeon
