How To Make Fermented Plant Juice (FPJ)

In this video, Libby and I teach you how to make Fermented Plant Juice (FPJ). Fermented Plant Juice (FPJ) can be used as a seed and plant solution to help increase the plant nutrition. It is derived from a single plants’ sources most nutrient parts, and combined with brown sugar for fermentation. During osmosis the brown sugar acts as a food source for growing microbes. Lohre Farm is located just east of Crown, MN. Sarah and I purchased our farm in 2017 and have grown from a small garden to a few acres of sustainable food growth. With the help of our Children, we grow a variety of fruits and vegetables.

We are working hard to use Korean Natural Farming (KNF) methods. Through the use of organic fertilizers like Oriental Herbal Nutrient, Fermented Plant Juice and Fish Amino Acid we can make a big difference in the quality of the vegetables we produce. Improving soil health, with the proliferation of Mycorrhizal Fungi in the soil increases the plant yields and quality of produce.

There are many animals on Lohre Farm, and with there help we can improve our soil health, all while producing farm fresh food to eat. We have chickens, ducks, cats and dogs. All of these animals assist in making our property more valuable and enjoyable.

We Believe God provides us with all of the natural resources needed for a wholesome life.

02:20 STEP 1: Weigh out you plant material
02:45 STEP 2: Weight out equal weight brown sugar
03:01 STEP 3: Mix the brown sugar with the plant material
03:39 STEP 4: Place the plant material into fermentation jars
04:36 STEP 5: Put a brown sugar cap on the plant material
05:05 STEP 6: Wipe down the outside of the jar with vinegar
05:20 STEP 7: Put breathable lids on the fermentation jars
05:50 STEP 8: Leave sit in warm environment for 5-10 days
06:32 STEP 9: Strain plant material into new jar
06:52 STEP 10: Dilute the FPJ at a 1:1000 ratio with water
07:42 STEP 11: Store in a breathable container
08:00 STEP 12: Use as a soil drench
