"Perseverance" rover has landed on Mars on 18th February 2021. Perseverance will reveal the secrets of Jezero crater. The landing of "Perseverance" rover is a huge success of NASA.

It took "Perseverance" 7 months to reach the orbit of the Mars and 7 more minutes to land successfully in a Martian crater called Jezero.
"Perseverance" has already send its first pictures from the Jezero crater.

Scientists are interested in the Jezero crater in order to find extinct life.

Jezero crater once used to be a lake, "Perseverance" is on a mission to find possible fossils which might be in a basin of the lake.

Perseverance will study Mars' habitability, seek signs of past microbial life, collect and store samples of selected rock and soil, and prepare for future human missions.

We have to wait a bit more before perseverance unveils the hidden secrets in the basin of the Jezero crater.
