The Murph Challenge 2022

Today was the Murph Challenge across the country to honor LT. Michael P. Murphy (SEAL) who sacrificed his life and was posthumously awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor for his actions in Afghanistan in 2005. This was his favorite workout, and this is why we do it on Memorial Day
.
The workout is:
- 1 mile run
- 100 pull-ups
- 200 push-ups
- 300 squats
- 1 mile run
.
I did it for the first time last year, and beat my time by almost 10 minutes this year! (29:54) I broke it down into 10 sets, doing 10 pull-ups, 20 push-ups, and 30 squats per set
.
Next year, I think it’s time to set it up and rock the weight vest 💪
