Region of intense conflict near Kyiv turned into tank cemetery
A region, turned into a tank cemetery with the tanks wrecked in the intense clashes and left on the roadside near the capital Kyiv of Ukraine, attracts people.

The area between the villages of Dmitrivka and Zabuchia, which is 27 kilometres away from the centre of Kyiv bears the traces of intense conflicts.

Anadolu Agency video shows people walking around and taking pictures of the region where the Russian army's advance to Kyiv was experienced and turned into tank cemetery with abandoned tanks.

At least 4,301 civilians have been killed and 4,735 injured since the war in Ukraine began on Feb. 24, according to UN estimates. The true toll is believed to be significantly higher.

Over 6.6 million people have fled to other countries, while more than 7.7 million have been internally displaced, according to the UN refugee agency. That represents roughly one-third of Ukraine's pre-war population of 43 million people.
