Upper Fort Garry, the Forks, Kildonan Park and Lower Fort Garry Manitoba in 2005.

More pictures for my magazine, Outdoors Spectacular Magazine, in 2005.

For some unknown reason, the city and province decided to remove the landmarks of Upper Fort Garry and place the historic structures you see in this video in a museum - somewhere.

The video also contains some pictures of the Forks, so named as it is situated on the banks of where the Red and Assiniboine Rivers meet. You will see the Forks Farmers Market as well as the riverside walkway as well.

We venture from there to Kildonan Park, home of the world famous Rainbow Stage and the fun (but ominous) Witches Hut – beware Hansel and Gretel! The park is especially beautiful in the summer with its carefully manicured flower gardens.

Finally, our tour takes us to Upper Fort Garry and the incredibly preserved buildings and armored forts and supply stores, dining rooms and lodges.

Enjoy!
