Farm Update - Elderberry Field #2 - Part 1

Now that our first elderberry field is established, it's time to get a 2nd field started. Field #2 has been tilled, fertilized and sown with buckwheat. Once the buckwheat has begun to flower, I'll mow it down and till it into the soil. This will improve the soil condition by supplying much needed nitrogen, phosphorus and organic material.
