The God of Justice and Mercy - Malachi 2:17-3:6

American Christianity has created the God of love of only. AND – it has impacted the masses. For bad.
They only know one verse – Judge not lest ye be judged.

Americans don’t want a God who judges. They don’t want a God of justice – just a God of love and mercy. But once you have created such a god like that – understand, you are no longer talking about the God of the Bible.

Now I could go through scores of verses which talk about God being a God of justice and judgment – and I could go through scores of verses which talk about God being a God of mercy and longsuffering. Because He is a God of both. Both attributes are seen in the Lord.
And understand, God’s love is seen in both. Many think His love is only seen in His mercy and longsuffering – but only because they have been contaminated by 21st American Christianity and are ignorant of Scripture.

Cannot divorce the ethic of love from Scripture. If you divorce the ethic of love you can justify anything - even two men or two women marrying each other. You can even justify locking down an entire nation of people; forcing masks on their faces; and forcing an experimental shot into their arms.

We demonstrate our love for God by keeping His commandments. Jn.14:15 “If you love Me, keep My commandments.” Love doesn’t mean you get to do just whatever you want – and God is good with it!
We actually demonstrate love to our Lord by keeping God’s commandments. John 15:10-read.
And, we actually demonstrate love to our neighbor by keeping His commandments. Rom. 13:8-10-read.
If you want the god of the Americans – understand you have rejected the God of the Bible. Repent! And embrace the God of the Bible.
