Russian President Vladimir Putin is on high alert after the neighboring country Poland ordered five hundred new rockets.
The move comes as a clear and challenging warning to Moscow that neighboring states have increased their military capabilities after the invasion of Ukraine. NATO forces have boosted both Sweden and Finland's capabilities and assets in the region, as well as Ukraine's ongoing calls to join the alliance.
Nicholas Drummond, a former British Army officer and defense industry analyst who talked about large supply, said Warsaw was fully determined to support Kiev in the crisis.
He wrote to Twitter: "If Poland demanded 50 or 100 HIMAR, I would be impressed.
“But Poland wants 500!!! Poland understands the importance of artillery and serious about fighting in the deep war.
"What this really tells us is that Poland has no intention of letting Ukraine lose this war."
