Police release new video of attack on police officer in northeast Oklahoma City

An Oklahoma City police officer's cruiser was hit and he was then shot at over the weekend by a man who admitted to wanting to be killed by police.

The Oklahoma City Police Department released more details about the incident as well as body camera and surveillance videos and new pictures.

The attack occurred around 2 a.m. Saturday morning near Northeast 52nd Street and Martin Luther King Avenue. Police said Quinton Pace fired the first shots before the officer returned fire through the window and windshield, hitting Pace at least twice.

Pace was treated for his injuries and taken to the Oklahoma County Jail.
