Arthur's bleeding nose Part II. Penny sniffs his butt and he grazes near the horse poop.

Good news on two fronts. Arthur's nose has stopped bleeding. It could have been a leach, we have a lot of those.
Penny sniffed Arthurs butt underneath his tail. This is the closest she has been to him. It means he is healthy and now an accepted part of the herd. With Cleo allowing him to stand guard at her rear when she was unwell and now this, it's great progress, as horses are the best judges of another horse's health.
They were paddocked with a horse that was dying with cancer and they would not let him near them. They reject sick and feeble horses as they are a threat to the herd's health.

Notice Arthur eats grass right next to the horse poop. This can be due to him being starved and not being as selective as most horses will usually be. Horses will avoid where there's horse poop and you can see pockets of long grass in paddocks where they avoid grassing where there is poop.
