Interview of a US Citizen living in Ukraine
US citizen Stephen James Humberd moved to Ukraine 8 years ago and settled with his wife in Izyum, which is now under control of Russian army.
He assumed that the Russians were shelling Izyum. He assumed so because he could not even imagine that Ukrainians could fire at their own people. Later he found out that the Ukrainian army did it for propaganda, in order to sow fear among the population, to make them afraid of the Russians...
"I think The Russian army, they treated me personally well," Humberd says, "I can understand why President Putin invaded, because he had to defend the Russian homeland. Because NATO countries lied about non-expansion… As for the Ukrainian army, President Zelensky does not control them. They are controlled by foreign countries."
He hopes the war will end soon..
