Shortly after 12:00 pm, CHP H-30 responded with multiple Fire, EMS, and Sheriff Deputies from Solano and Yolo Counties to a report of a female clinging to a tree in the middle of Putah Creek.

CHP H-30 arrived overhead as a rescue swimmer from the Fire Department made his way to the victim. H-30 lowered a crew member to the scene and hoisted the victim from the creek and to waiting fire and EMS personnel.

This rescue would not have gone smoothly if it wasn’t for joint agency training over the past several years and a solid working relationship between all agencies involved.
