In this episode I will be talking to Amber who works in the Entertainment Industry as a Song Writer, Musician, Producer, and now #2 best selling Author in her genre. Amber is a transgender woman. She wrote a memoir about her journey to finding and living as her authentic self. * I have a trans sibling and I support her decision to live her life however she sees fit and hopefully is happy at the end of the day. * It is not an easy road for one to take. I know from watching my sisters journey and having most of the family not be supportive in the beginning and going through a period where most of us didn't speak to her for a few years. I didn't speak to her for over 10 years. * * Amber's Bio: * Amber Rose Washington is an author, songwriter, musician, producer, public speaker, and advocate for the transgender community and has been featured on FOX, NBC, CBS, NPR, and a host of other media. Her new Podcast show, "THE JOURNEY, Unscripted" is scheduled to begin airing in April 2021. * Amber grew up in Liberty, New York; a small town in the Catskill Mountains.
