Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury (Switch) 100% - 3D World World 1 (All Stars & Stamps)

For my next walkthrough series, I'm playing two games in one! Welcome to the recently-released Nintendo Switch port of Super Mario 3D World, which includes the brand-new minigame Bowser's Fury!

Super Mario 3D World was one of the most overlooked Mario games in the series solely because of the fact that it was released on the Wii U, a console not a lot of people owned. But it was such an amazing game that it deserved another chance, and I'm so glad it did! I actually never completed the final step for 100% completion on the Wii U version, but I'm fixing that mistake now!

Super Mario 3D World feels like the perfect blend of 2D and 3D style Mario gameplay, as you run and jump through each stage collecting green stars to unlock new levels. There is also a stamp in each level, and you can also turn the flagpole at the end gold by touching the very top of it (and yes, this game keeps track of that, and you'll need every gold flagpole to reach the final world). You can also play as four different characters (plus one more hidden in the postgame levels), and you'll also need to beat each level with every character to get the final 5 stamps (which is the final step I never completed on the Wii U).

In World 1, we're immediately introduced to the game's signature power-up, the Super Bell, which turns your character into a cat! The cat suit allows you to swipe enemies, climb up walls, and pretty much guarantee your golden flagpole at the end of the level. There is also the introduction of Plessie and Captain Toad (who would later get his own spinoff game in the same style as his levels from this game), and an infinite 1UP trick in World 1-2!
