This afternoon, CHP H-30 responded with CAL FIRE/Napa County Fire Department, Napa State Fire, and AMR Napa County to a report of an injured hiker in Skyline Park.
H-30 responded and located the hiker on a difficult to access trail. H-30 deployed a Flight Officer/Paramedic to the patients location. With the assistance of firefighters, the patient was packaged and placed into rescue equiptment.
H-30 hoisted the patient from the trail and transported him to a waiting AMR ambulance. The patient was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
