We live in dark and challenging days, both individually and as a community. Sometimes circumstances are heavy, or hard on the heart. Sometimes they’re confusing and seem unstable. In the midst of all these things there might be a tendency to lose hope or feel overwhelmed. BUT GOD. When God steps in to our situations and relationships, and we learn to trust Him in the middle of all these things, He empowers us to see things from a new perspective - to see things the way that He sees them. With God nothing is impossible! Because we are in Jesus, we are more than conquerors through Him! Nothing can ever separate us from His love - the love He has lavished on us as His children. He can provide. He can protect. He can sustain. He is faithful! And so when our view is clouded by the hardship of life, the call is to fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. Let’s allow God to give us fresh vision, to shift our vantage point from being under the circumstances to that of an overcomer. Victory belongs to the LORD, and we belong to the LORD; that means that victory is ours, and we can take God at His word - everything He has said He will do He will do! What are you looking at right now? Has God ever had to change your mind? Let’s seek His face, and see how He brings change for us, and be thankful as He blesses us with new perspective.
