A tense moment was captured in body camera footage when a Metro SWAT police officer was called to downtown Bridgeville on July 4.

The 16-minute video shows the moment in response to the moment when a police officer noticed that he was harming a building.

Eight SWAT police officers responded by pulling a gun and cleaning up the building.

“Metropolis, see you! Come to me now. Show your hand. When you get off the 4th floor of the event space, you can hear the policeman screaming.

After a few seconds, the woman raises her hand and quietly enters from the roof.

“Executive, I work here,” she says, as the guards admit her.

On the other hand, the command to her friend takes a few more minutes.

“Metro police, come to me now,” the police officer later requested and asked if he was yelling loud enough.

The group planned to see a fireworks show in a rented closed building, claiming they were unaware that it was in the blast zone. The CEO of Infinity Hospitality states that the scene is traumatic for employees.

“They come in and see people with guns and lights. How do you react if that happens in your office? So they get scared and park People who just walked came to work, “explained CEO Nathaniel Beaver.

The trial delayed the fireworks show.

“Are you aware that everyone is holding a fireworks display? Literally, the whole city is waiting for this,” one of the executives can hear telling the group.

Body camera footage shows frustration from police officers as the group is cleared from the building.

“So aren’t they even going to prosecute those guys?” One of the police officers later asks, “Well, at least you need to be fired.”

Only a few minutes later, police officers noticed that they were involved in the blast zone. When he hears the fireworks launch into the sky, an officer asks, “What’s that?”

Another scream, “Metropolis”, is fireworks before you notice the big boom.

A police helicopter was heard in a video footage swirling nearby, and the crew was surprised while the fireworks were illuminating the sky.

Fortunately, no one was injured. A series of events that encourage the Nashville Fire Department to change the protocol for future events.

The CEO of Infinity Hospitality has chosen to donate the Bridge Building to the city next year to ensure proper protection. He says it’s a $ 50,000 donation.
