Special needs doctor appointment :Today I am taking my son to a doctor appointment. Cullen is autistic and doctors sometimes need a little reminder that children are not used to doctors. I ask that they please explain everything they are going to do before they touch Cullen because it helps him to feel more secure. Special needs children in particular have an easier time emotionally at doctor appointment s if the doctor has a little warning ahead of time.

We are a homeschooling family with five kids at home, six kids total. Our channel is about large family life, homeschooling, and finding the blessing in everyday. I am currently homeschooling a teenager, two elementary aged children and a preschooler. (I am also homeschooling our toddler-but some people don’t consider that homeschool-I do!)

Not everyday is easy, but everyday is a blessing.
