Sneaking Arthur a little supper while the girls aren't around. He stayed around when they moved

Interesting to note that Arthur stayed around where I am when the girls moved down the other end of the paddock. Not sure if it's because he's not as bound with the herd as would be good, or if it's because he knows I am there with the feed. He knows where to stand to watch me prepare his feed from the paddock. He's a darling soul.
Fencing is not ideal, I know. Everything costs money and everything about horses is expensive.
