I encounter a red belly black snake, while talking about snakes and touring the seedlings we planted

Blink and you miss it.
I have upgraded my footwear from thongs (flip flops) to crocs (yes the slip on shoes with the holes in them). I call the crocs my safety shoes, against horse hooves and snakes. Honestly, they're comfortable and easy. I stomp my way through this little section by the creek discussing how many snakes would be there. In the meantime I must've walked by one and when I turned around to walk back it ran away. I swear, but honestly, the poor snake was more scared than I was. They will leave us alone if we let them know we are around.
