CHP H-30 responded with firefighters from Marin County to a report of a hiker suffering a medical emergency on the Music Stand Trail.

H-30 arrived overhead and was able to locate the patient on a single track trail. CHP H-30 lowered a CHP Flight Sergeant to the scene to assist. Once firefighters arrived at the location with water district rangers it was determined that the patients emergency was minor in nature and that ground assets would hike him out.

H-30 returned to the scene and hoisted the flight Sgt up to H-30 and returned to service.
