I get comments from time to time asking why I seem to like things in China so much. Today I am going to explain why, other than the fact that I lived there for so long, I often compare things in the US to things in China.

My goal is to wake people up to reality. The America you think you live in has been gone for quite some time. This is no longer the best place to do business, it isn't even the easiest. There are too many regulations for small businesses to thrive, and the costs are too high. Large corporations have carefully crafted this mine field of regulations to prevent any competition from rising up in their wake.

You and I have been sold out by the political class. The reason we are talking about $15 minimum wage at McDonalds is because the political class have sent all the good paying working class jobs away to places where they don't have to deal with environmental/safety regulations.
