Wat Choeng Tha - Wat Na Bot Temples
Wat Choeng Tha and Wat Na Bot are the significant archaeological sites in Nonthaburi. There is evidence these two temples were constructed, based on their architectural styles, that they were built during the late Ayutthaya period and the beginning of the Rattanakosin period.

Both temples were located on land that the Irrigation Department needed to use. After meeting with community leaders they moved the temple and ruin to a new location in order to enable the government to build a pier as well as keeping the temple intact.

The ordination hall of Wat Na Bot laid the foundation at the new site on August 4, 2008. The new site is called "Buddhist Site of Choeng Tha - Na Bot".

The temple has a long history with the Mon community that settled in this region so it was very important to keep the temple in tact.
