In this video, I take you with me to swim in the ice hole in Riga, Latvia.
While the actual swim is more like immersion and lasts about a minute, I explain my process and you can also see some of the city flairs, albeit sped up and edited.

Air temps -16C/3.2F. Water temps 0.5C/33F.

This was my 2nd season. I did train to put my hands in the water, and now I'm able to swim for 1-2 minutes without any neoprene or any other gloves. My feet got trained up last winter.
