Hiker who was stuck on the side of San Bruno Mountain was hoisted out by CHP helicopter

This afternoon, CHP H-32 responded with Daly City Fire to a report of a hiker who was “stuck” on the side of San Bruno Mountain.
Upon the arrival of a Daly City Battalion Chief the hiker was located on a steep cliff wall and off trail.
H-32 deployed a Flight Officer Paramedic to the hikers location as firefighters hiked in on foot.
Upon making contact with the hiker she was placed into a rescue harness and hoisted approximately 110 feet from the side of San Bruno Mountain and lowered to waiting firefighters at the trail head.
