Meet the sheriff ENCOURAGING citizens to protect their homes

Some states actually have PENALIZED citizens for using force to deter intruders from their homes. But Santa Rosa County, Florida Sheriff Bob Johnson feels quite differently: ‘[If] somebody is breaking into your house, they're not giving you cookies or going to give you a hug. They're coming in there to break more laws,’ he tells Glenn. So, he explains, residents not only should be legally allowed — but also should be ENCOURAGED — to properly use the means necessary to defend their homes.
