‘Media dishonesty’: Ted Cruz rallies at NRA conference

Texas Senator Ted Cruz has rallied at a National Rifle Association rally in Houston—slamming the media’s “dishonesty” and “cynicism”.
Mr Cruz said everybody is horrified by mass murders and pointed to the media’s blame on members of the NRA.
“We must not react to evil and tragedy by abandoning the constitution,” he said.
“Now is not the time for lies, or empty political gestures.”
