Memorial Day. For the over 50,000 veterans and their loved ones that call Kern County home, it’s a time of remembrance, for those that served their country and made the ultimate sacrifice. Saturday is the first time since 2019 that the Memorial Day ceremony at the Bakersfield National Cemetary will be open to the public.
