Gearing Up For Spring & Daylight Savings | Alberta Gardening, Ice Sculptures, and The Farm!

Today We Gear up For Spring and change our clocks ahead 1 hour for Daylight Saving Time. We start our Garden seedlings, check out some ice sculptures and visit the farm to see our friends rescued geese, chickens and new baby ducklings. We live in a Zone 3 Garden climate and it can be very tricky to grow your own plants. This year we want to double our harvest so with planning and some more raised garden beds we should be able to do it. This is the first year we will also try growing our own annual flowers for our deck pots. So exciting! The ice sculptures we checked out were done by 3 local men from the Beaumont Arts Society. They did an amazing job carving 3 sculptures a night for a week straight. Great job boys we really enjoyed the display.
