Road Rage Trucker VS Airstream POP

Trucker road rage. I was running in the right lane with the cruise control set on 63. (75 MPH speed limit). The trucker was apparently governed at 65 and had been behind me for a while. She then decided to "scare" me, which she did. It was terrifying for a few moments. You can see the ProPride working to keep the trailer from swaying. In the end, I called the trucking company who pretty much blew me off until they saw the dash cam footage (both front and rear) and then she was magically unemployed. That may be the only time the ProPride was required since I've owned it, but that one time made the price insignificant!...

Because she actually made contact with me. I initially contacted their insurance company and that worked right up until "the check is in the mail". $14,000 worth of damage according to the Airstream service shop. After 6 months of never hearing from them despite even hiring an attorney, I just turned it into my insurance company under "uninsured motorist". They went after the trucking company and got it resolved. All told, from incident to resolution was over a year....

The truck driver was in the wrong all the way around, which is why they were unemployed after the incident. My job is to drive defensively, which I did by getting away from the road rage. My only regret is that the State Police wouldn't show up to arrest the driver and have criminal charges filed against them. The freeways were not just created for truckers. Comments defending such road rage are indicative of a society that refuses to accept responsibility for their own actions."
