3 VEHICLE ACCIDENT, PROVIDENCE TEXAS, 05/27/22...

3 Vehicle Accident, PROVIDENCE, May 27, 2022 - Shortly after 1 pm on May 27, 2022, the driver of a black Nissan Rogue was north-bound on US-146. The driver was waiting to make a left turn onto Providence Road when he was slammed from behind by a white Chevy Malibu. The impact cause the Malibu to bounce into the south-bound lane (the opposite direction of travel) and get broad sided by a south-bound beige Ford Edge. Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Trooper Nick Hatton with the Texas Highway Patrol. One person had very minor injuries and was transported to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital as a precautionary measure. Traffic on 146 was not blocked during investigation and cleanup. The driver of the Chevy Malibu was cited for failure to control speed. The Malibu was recovered by Ken's Towing and will be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston. The Ford Edge was recovered by Kwik Tow out of Livingston and the Nissan Rogue was recovered by Dan's Towing out of Livingston.
