Glendale PD releases body cam footage of officers using trauma kits to save lives

Why did you become a police officer? One of the most asked questions. In general responses range from "to save lives," "to make a difference," "to help people," or "to be like my Mom/Dad/Brother/Sister."

At the Glendale Police Department we are proud of the men and women who serve this community. Our officers are out here making a difference by saving lives.

We understand that each injured person is someone's loved one.

We are thankful to have the opportunity to try and save lives with our limited training and equipment, as often times we are the first to arrive on a serious injury scene.
