New body-cam released by the Phoenix Police Department shows officers nearly shot at by a suspect earlier this month.

On Nov. 6 around 3:45 a.m., officers responded to a report of domestic violence near 67th Avenue and Camelback Road. When officers arrived on scene, a man started firing several rounds at officers and into the air.

In the video, two officers were behind a tree when gunshots were firing in the distance. Suddenly, one of the officers jumps back as bullets fire near the two men. "Oh Jesus," one officer said. "He just shot right by us."

Police say the suspect fired several rounds in their direction, striking a patrol vehicle. He continued firing for about 20 minutes before being taken into custody. Towards the end of the video, several officers are seen arresting the suspect, who was later taken to the hospital for minor injuries. No officers were injured.
