Three people shot in downtown Kalamazoo have all been treated and released from the hospital.

A 47-year-old woman, a 46-year-old man and a 61-year-old man, all from Kalamazoo, were shot around 9:15 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 27, Kalamazoo Public Safety Public Information Officer Ryan Bridges said.

They were taken to a local hospital with injures that were not life-threatening, police said previously. All three patients had all been released from the hospital by noon Monday, Nov. 29, Bridges said.

They were shot on a bus at the Kalamazoo Metro Transportation Center, 530 N. Rose St., in downtown Kalamazoo by Anthony Oliver, 54, police said.

Oliver was shot by police outside the bus. He was taken to a hospital where he died from his injures, police said.

There were three officers involved in the shooting and they are on paid administrative leave, Bridges said.

Bus service was suspended for the remainder of Saturday as police investigated the shooting.
