Why Roe v. Wade being overturned changes nothing and the left having a meltdown is totally unwarranted.

As I’m sure most of you know, Roe v. Wade is a 1973 Supreme Court case that resulted in the constitutional protection of the right to an abortion. Overturning Roe v. Wade does not mean abortion is now illegal.

What it does mean is that the 10th amendment of the Constitution will come into effect. Now, abortion law will be decided on the state level, not the federal level. That all said, most people seeking an abortion will still be able to get one in their own state.

30% of all abortions in the US are had by white women.

Whites make up about 61% of the US population and the percentage of white women among all women is the same, (~60%)

12% of, or 1 in 8, white pregnancies are aborted.

35% of all abortions in the US are had by black women.

Black women make up about 14% of the population and the percentage of black women among all women is about the same (12.9%)

35% of, or about 1 in 3, black pregnancies are aborted.

Americans Can Get Abortions In Canada If Roe Is Overturned, Canada Official Says

A Canadian official said Wednesday that Americans will be able to obtain abortions in Canada should the Supreme Court overturn the landmark abortion rights decision, Roe v. Wade.

“I don’t see why we would not,” Karina Gould, the minister of families, children and social development, told the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. “If they, people, come here and need access, certainly, you know, that’s a service that would be provided.”

Abortion is legal in Canada at any point in pregnancy. Although the country provides universal health care, access to different abortion services varies between provinces.

Dem witness tells House committee men can get pregnant, have abortions

A Democrat witness testifying before the House Judiciary Committee on abortion rights Thursday declared that men can get pregnant and have abortions.

Aimee Arrambide, the executive director of the abortion rights nonprofit Avow Texas, was asked by Rep. Dan Bishop, R-N.C., to define what "a woman is," to which she responded, "I believe that everyone can identify for themselves."
