Diamonds Are Forever | James Bond 007 Movies #RANKED Ep. 007

But no matter how high or low each movie goes, we love and adore each and every one of them, because nobody does it better than 007. DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER: Sean Connery returns for one last go around (at least as far as Cubby Broccoli is concerned) as James Bond 007, and in the process opens the door for goofiness and the surreal within the Bond-verse, as well as LGBTQ+ assassins and all kinds of weird fun. Remember that new world I talked about last week with OHMSS? Yea, never mind about that. James Bond goes full Austin Powers in "Diamonds Are Forever," a story that puts 007 in the role of the Fonz who jumps the shite out of a shark. I could lay out the ridiculous plot that is near impossible to follow, mixed with all kinds of stuff that makes no sense, but why ruin the fun? All you need to know is that Sean Connery is back for one last go around with ridiculous and freaky LGBTQ assassins, a hilarious lunar rover chase, Jimmy Dean the sausage man, and Guy Hamilton doing everything possible to make sure your brain severs ties with Peter Hunt's "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" by going in the complete opposite direction. Anybody that thought that dark, stark, and depressing film wasn't all that much fun, eat your heart out, because Diamonds Are Forever is the ultimate action comedy in the Bond-verse.
