NASA will be putting their new super heavy lift rocket SLS, the Space Launch System, through its final test! They will fill the SLS tanks with LOx & LH2 and then light all four of the RS25 engines for up to 8 minute with full duration burn to simulate a full launch. SLS will not leave the pad.

The next time this core stage will be fired is during the launch of Artemis I, the first integrated flight of SLS and Orion, and the first mission of the agency’s Artemis program.
