Shane and Shane are possibly my favourite musicians of all time. I love the music and the creativity, but more than that I love the heart and the passion they demonstrate for Jesus. They have a unique gifting for capturing the heart of the Word of God and expressing it through song. They've done this particularly well with Psalms, and it's a treat to try and recreate some of their songs here in a mellow, instrumental kind of way.

But think about the words these psalms convey: You wrote the story of my life... You hem me in behind and before... I am fearfully and wonderfully made... The LORD is my Shepherd... Goodness, mercy, and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life... They're the words of a God of love - a Father who thinks about and adores His children. That's us! He's our sustainer, our protector, our provider. He loves with a rich, extravagant love! And now we get to respond in kind: "Because Your love is better than life I will praise you as long as I'm alive!" Let's honour Him, and worship Him today. He's awesome, and He's for you!
