Puzzled About Revelation, Part 27A: The 6th Seal & The End of the Age (Rev. 6:12-17)

Join me this week as we begin the first of a three-part study on the 6th seal of Revelation 6 and its connection to the end of the age and the coming of the Lord. Tonight we will do an overview and discuss some of the interpretive issues related to the nature and timing of these events.
How we interpret the 6th seal has major implications for (1) how we interpret the rest of the Book of Revelation, (2) how we interpret the end of the age and the things which must first take place, (3) how we interpret the nature and timing of the wrath of God, and (4) how we interpret the nature and timing of the “rapture” (ingathering) of the saints.
We will use the principle of “Scripture interprets Scripture” and allow the Holy Spirit to guide us into the truth and teach us. Where the teachings of man contradict the Word of God, we must reject all human traditions and myths and hold fast to that which has been delivered once and for all to the saints (Jude 3)!
