Each day, Atlanta Police officers show up ready to respond to your 911 calls for service, and focused on the mission to reduce crime and hold suspects who prey on others accountable. It is the teamwork that makes all the difference.

On January 26th, 2022, Atlanta Police observed two suspicious males attempting to enter parked vehicles on Greenbriar Pkwy. After being spotted, the males fled the location in an SUV. The vehicle was later seen near 850 Oak St. NW and at that time, officers attempted to initiate a traffic stop on the vehicle.

The suspects again fled from officers, who at that point requested the assistance of the Atlanta Police Air Unit, Phoenix.

Phoenix was able to maintain a visual on the suspects as they traveled recklessly through SW Atlanta, eventually bailing from the vehicle in a nearby neighborhood. With the assistance of several units to include ACE, K-9, and Zone 4, officers located both suspects who were attempting to hide in the area.

The suspects were found to be in possession of tools commonly used to commit theft from autos. Both suspects were charged accordingly and transported to Fulton County Jail without incident. We want to thank all the units and officers involved in making these arrests.
